Jade and Tyler both grew up in Bayou Blue, living only 3 minutes up the road from each other all of their lives. While a romantic love story is of desire to be told, that is not how the two came to be. Tyler spent his high school years at home playing video games, when he was not preparing for track meets with his brother. Jade was the social cheerleader who had all the high school parties at her house. The two never crossed paths and were never even acquaintances until their senior year of high school. It was during this time when Tyler, who was feeling a little tipsy, commented on Jade's Snapchat story expressing that he had always been into her. Jade was completely shocked and told him to message her when he was sober. The rest was history.
Their first date was at the Hercules Mardi Gras Parade and Jade met Tyler's family for the first time During the Easter Holiday at his grandma's house. Their interactions were effortless and they began dating on March 3rd, 2018.
Jade and Tyler then became each others support system during their college years. Tyler graduated from River Parishes Community College and Jade graduated from Nicholls State University the following year. The two continue to chase their dreams and recently bought a house in the Baton Rouge Area. They will be making 7 years together this year.
